After making a mark in real estate, engineering, agro-machinery and stationery, Shrachi Group, through its newest venture SSV, has dedicated itself to the development of a vibrant sporting culture in India. Shri Sandeep Patil is a dashing sports personality, a batsman and a useful medium-pace bowler of the Indian cricket team, known as a tower of strength to the Indian middle order for many years. The former Indian cricketer and coach is also known for his contributions to Indian cricket including coaching roles at Mumbai Champs and NCA, currently affiliated with AthLead Cricket.

Shri Gautam Shome is a distinguished cricket coach with over 25 years of experience and a former Bengal first class cricketer with ECB Level 2 and NCA Level 2 certifcations. He is currently contributing to AthLead Cricket.

Nandan Fadnis

Nandan Fadnis

Nandan Phadnis is a distinguished cricket coach with an impressive track record, holding BCCI Level II and ECB Level III certifications. A versatile expert, he’s been a BCCI panel umpire, a first-class cricketer for Maharashtra, and a seasoned radio commentator and television analyst. As a mentor and educator on the NCA Coach Education Faculty, he shapes the future of AthLead cricket through team, academy, and one-on-one coaching.

Saradindu Mukherjee

Shri Saradindu Mukherjee, a distinguished cricketer who played for Bengal and represented India in three ODIs during 1990-91, made headlines by taking a hat-trick on his Ranji Trophy debut. Known for his pivotal role in the 1990-91 Asia Cup, he now brings his expertise and passion to AthLead Cricket, guiding the next generation of cricketing talent.

Bhaskar Ganguly

A former Indian football goalkeeper and a revered figure in Indian football, Shri Bhaskar Ganguly led the nation as captain during the 1982 Asian Games in New Delhi. Now, he brings his legacy and expertise to AthLead Football, inspiring the next generation of players with his leadership and passion for the game.

Dinesh Nanavati

Shri Dinesh Nanavati, a distinguished former first-class cricketer for Saurashtra, has seamlessly transitioned into a seasoned cricket coach with extensive experience at the National Cricket Academy and various teams. Now, he brings his expertise and passion to AthLead Cricket, mentoring the next generation of cricketing talent.

Shrachi Sports Teams & Franchises

Shrachi Sports has made significant investments across various sports leagues in India. In the inaugural Bengal Pro T20 League, the Rarh Tigers, both men’s and women’s teams, won hearts and matches, with the women’s team reaching the semi-finals. Shrachi Sports also supports Kabaddi by co-owning the Kashi Kings in the Uttar Pradesh Kabaddi League, aiming to elevate this ancient Indian sport in the modern arena. Additionally, they launched the Shrachi Rarh Bengal Tigers in the Pro Panja League’s second season to promote arm-wrestling in India.

ATHLEAD

A project to lead discovery of talents for the future of Indian sports and athletics.

While Shrachi Sports’ teams are providing a platform to budding players to showcase their talents and shine on a bigger stage, SSV’s AthLead programme is the vehicle to find new talents and foster their growth. It was born out of a desire to bridge the perceived gap in adequate infrastructure, necessary funding and exposure and opportunities for aspirants.

According to studies, India has got the largest youth population. About 745 million or 55% Indians are under the age of 26. About 80% of that, which is about 450 million are under the age of 16. A lot of potential out there. AthLead is an initiative to tap into that resource pool and find sporting stars of the future.

Shrachi Sports Ventures has pledged its support to different sporting leagues across the country to help develop a multi-sports culture in the country, while propagating the development of those particular sports.

Bengal Pro T20 League

The Bengal Pro T20 League is an annual cricket league in West Bengal, India, featuring eight city-based franchises. Launched in 2024 by the Cricket Association of Bengal, it runs from June to August. The league, inspired by the IPL, aims to showcase local talent and is played at Eden Gardens and Jadavpur University. The inaugural season drew over 150 million viewers.

Shrachi Sports in association with the Indian Football Association is launching an ISL style football league in West Bengal. The Bengal Football Premier League is going to be the premier annual football event in the region creating opportunities for hidden football gems to shine on the larger stage.
Pro-Panja-League

Pro Panja League

The Pro Panja League (PPL) is an Indian arm wrestling league that debuted from 28 July to 13 August 2023 at Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium, New Delhi. Featuring men, women, and specially-abled players, the tournament’s name stems from “Panja,” meaning arm wrestling. Kochi KDs won the first season, which followed exhibition events that garnered 275 million views online.

Kashi Kings & UPKL – Shrachi Sports also co-owns the Kashi Kings Kabaddi Team in the Uttar Pradesh Kabaddi League. It is our endevour to help this ancient Indian sport find its rightful place in the modern world.
Indian Soccer League (ISL)

Indian Super League

The Indian Super League (ISL) is India’s top men’s football league, featuring 13 clubs. Running from September to March, it includes a 24-round season followed by playoffs. The top team is awarded the League Winners’ Shield and qualifies for the AFC Champions League. The ISL now follows promotion-only processes, with no relegation.

Indian Hockey League

Hockey India League (HIL), also known as Coal India Hockey India League, is a professional field hockey league in India, founded in 2013 by Hockey India. HIL, with six teams, runs from January to February, featuring playoffs to decide the winner. The most recent champions are Kalinga Lancers (2017). The league returns in 2024.

Indian Racing League

The Indian Racing League (formerly X1 Racing League) is an Indian auto racing championship co-founded by drivers Aditya Patel and Armaan Ebrahim. Launched in 2019 with Formula BMW cars, it faced issues, including mechanical failures and safety concerns. After pandemic delays, it returned in late 2022 with Group CN-class Wolf GB08s.

Calcutta Football League

The Calcutta Football League (CFL), organized by the Indian Football Association (WB), is the oldest football league in Asia, starting in 1898. It features over 160 clubs, mostly from Kolkata, in a seven-tier system with over 8,500 players. CFL is one of the world’s oldest and India’s largest football leagues.

IFA Shield

The IFA Shield is an annual football competition organized by the Indian Football Association, the football governing body in the Indian state of West Bengal. The IFA came into existence in 1893, and was named after the association. The IFA Shield tournament was started in the same year. It is the third oldest football tournament in India, after Durand Cup and Trades Cup, and is among the oldest football competitions in the world.

Associations

In order to strengthen sports in India, Shrachi Sports is going beyond the supposed boundaries. From the belief that sports can breach any boundary and from the understanding that everybody holds a certain fire inside them that awaits the right flint to ignite, Shrachi Sports has committed itself to the development and propagation of Paralympics in India. In that direction, it has come onboard as a principal sponsor of the Paralympics Committee of India.

Shrachi Sports has signed a 3-year partnership with the PCI to provide better support to the para-athletes to help them win glories for India. The Shrachi Sports sponsored Indian contingent winning 19 medals in the 2024 World Para Athletics Championships.

Goa Challengers, co-owned by Mr. Shrinivas Dempo and Mr. Vivek Bhargava, enter UTT 2024 as defending champions, focused on retaining their crown.
